Configuring editors with SumatraPDF
WinEdt works fine with it and you no longer need to close your pdf-document manually everytime you compile your Summatra text. I reinstalled Adobe Air and the problem was solved. I have machines I need to repair and do not want to miss the updates availability notification. It occuered as soon as I uninstalled Adobe Air.

At any rate, the Adobe Acrobat I have doesn’t have an option for Protected Mode see previous comments. I have tried all the solutions with no luck.
