Elementary Go Series at Sensei’s Library
It shows various strategies that White can use when giving handicaps. Lessons in the Fundamentals has a more wholistic approach but is too ecliptic for players below 12k, although eementary first four chapters are worth reading already at your level.

Mastering the Basics vs Elementary Go Series
Indeed many tesuji reappear under different functions without their critical properties highlighted. While I’ve read numerous other books, I do think that these three have been the most enlightening and helpful books I’ve read. Get Strong at Tesuji the one and two star problems are good for an 18k.
